Mothra Butterfly knife Trainer

Mothra Butterfly knife Trainer

I've been underwhelmed at seeing the same 10 butterfly knives online that just dont deviate from the blade designs we've all seen. So i was thinking a cross-breed of a stilletto and a butterfly and an aquatic knife. Best results came from printing the blade in two halves and supergluing the halves carefully together. everything else is straight forward. Use a paper clip segment to install the latch onto the handle and it will latch open or closed. I called it Mothra because i printed it at like 120% scale and it was comically huge and what other name is there for a giant butterlfy knife lol, this is the 1st thing i wanna make into solid aluminum using the mini aluminum forge and using the lost PLA method. Train up your butterfly skills without the worry of getting arrested lol and have fun :)oh P.S. the indents where the blade notches should fit into the handle didnt work as planned but it was close enough to use a hot glue gun without glue in it to heat up the plastic enough to thermoform the notches to where the handles can be closed without snags, so ya gotta work at it a little, sorry5/21/20- i think this is too small so ya gotta scale it to atleast 115% for it to come out right, sorry, ill change the stl files for this to be scaled up so it'll work
