Here is a motorized lift for Tulio Laanen's excellent and popular Marble Machine 2 (Thing #795952). Derived from KreAture's Improved lift (Thing #820323) Powered by 2 AA batteries, the lift directly retrofits and replaces the original manual lift.https://youtu.be/Gfk6TAG3ZFMhttps://youtu.be/EiT330rlnDw edit 9Mar16: fixed lift screw, now spirals in correct direction Instructions Print the 4 parts and clean them up. They print well without supports. Drill out screw holes to size. Tap the 12-tooth gear for a 6-32 setscrew. You will need a few assorted screws to attach the battery holder and the motor cover. You will also need a short 6-32 set screw for the 12-tooth gear. Wire the motor, switch,and battery holder. Motor is a 298:1 Micro Gearmotor from Pololu The battery holder is Digikey BH2AA-W-ND Switch is Digikey CWI334-ND
