Motor Rotation to Linear Motion

Motor Rotation to Linear Motion

thingiverse

Just a 3D model to demonstrate a way to convert a motors rotational movement into a linear movement. This is intended as a learning tool, however, the 'piston' arm can be remodeled to any shape or connector for a practical use. -At full scale, the motor mount fits a motor with a circumference of 24mm. -At 75% scale, the motor mount fits a motor with a circumference of 18mm. -Here is a simple proportion for scaling: (24/100)=(x/y) x= The motor circumference(Unknown) y= Scale Factor (ie. 50%, 125%, etc.) The model pictured above is scaled at 85% to fit a 20mm motor.
