Motorcycle Bar End

I lost one of my Bar Ends so I designed a replacement. You will need to print two of each parts and you will need 2x M6 x 50 Capscrews and 2x M6 Nuts.

This is designed to fit a 13mm ID Handlebar. I'm busy prototyping the expanding sleeve and will post this as soon as I've got a descent model. Photos of the print and fitted pics to follow.

Print this pretty solid as it will have to be able to take some punishment if you put the bike down. I'm printing at 70% infill, 0.2mm Resolution.

UPDATE: 15/07/2017 - I've added the Expansion Part of the Bar End. Please let me know if this works for you or if you've got a better idea. The M6 Nut fits into the expander. The capscrew plug is 0.5mm oversize, so it may need some motivation to go in :) I've also added an expander with M6 thread. It's easier to print, and you don't need a nut :)

To get the thread correct I had to scale it to 125% on the DaVinci where on my UM2 Clone, it printed fine at 100%.

UPDATE: 16/07/2017 - I've created a version that you can quickly fit using a mallet. I'll use these until my expander design is finished and tested.
Category: Automotive
