Introduction ======== I made this phone holder for my bike. I like to use google map to navigate around on my bike. Before, mounting the phone in the centre of handlebar was quite difficult. In fact, there weren't much phone holder in the market that fit the shape of cb125e's handlebar. There was one using ball head but it was too weak to hold the phone properly since the ball was made from plastic. A 3d printed phone clip seems not strong enough unless I make it thick and and obviously not look as good as molded products. So I bought a phone clip, a D ring 1/4" screw and designed the clamp for it. Part list ======= + Tripod mounted phone clip (ebay search: "phone clip tripod" sort lowest price) + 1/4" camera screw (ebay search: "D ring camera screw") + Spring 3mm diameter , savage from a broken pen + M3 screw 16mm + nut x6 + Silicone grease, for lubricate if the small clips are hard to slide These things are cheap, a dollar or two (ebay) Note ====== The two clamps should be printed with abs for maximum abuse. The adapter should be printed with support Infill doesn't matter as long as you feel it strong enough, maybe 30-40% It should compatible with other phone clips that can be mounted to a tripod, but the simple one with mounting screw on the back is preferred since it is strongest. The phone clip has spring inside which will be corroded badly after a few rains, shouldn't leave it out in the rain with the bike (my mistake before) You can modify it yourself using the Fusion 360 file (*.f3d).
