Two motors will be in charge of moving a platform where you can attach your smartphone/GOPRO or DSLR camera to and,at the same time, <strong>pan it tracking an</strong> object. <a href="https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/motorized-camera-slider-wifi-controlled-v21-9a985b2ce2a84ef89a95632289176dac">Interactive 3D model of the camera slider here</a></p> <p>This camera slider can be <strong>EXTREMELY SLOW (0.01 mm/sec)</strong> but strong enough to <strong>smoothly move</strong> the camera platform</p> <p>You just have to let this Arduino robot know the location of the object to be filmed and it will<strong> calculate in real time what to do in order to keep the target always in the center of the camera view. </strong></p> <p>Once the moving platform (with the camera) reaches the end of the rail, it will decelerate and <strong>come back to the original position, swinging back and forward</strong> until you decide to stop it. The camera can be replaced for a Webcam, flashlight, laser... </p> <h3>Remotely controlled using your <strong>smartphone or tablet</strong> (WIFI).</h3> <p>The robot can be controlled from your own smartphone/tablet using the freely available APPs: </p> <ul style="list-style-type: circle;"> <li><a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jjrobots.cameraslider">Android</a> </li> <li><a href="https://itunes.apple.com/es/app/cameraslider/id1418868442">iOS</a></li> </ul> <p> You can even control its travelling / panning speed in real time.</p> <p>Perfect for <strong>Time-Lapse videos</strong>, to create artistic <strong>presentations</strong>, to show automatically different <strong>point of views during a webcam call/ demonstration video. </strong></p> <p>Check out some videos here and how it works here: <a href="https://www.jjrobots.com/camera-slider-tracking-system-3d-printed/ ">https://www.jjrobots.com/camera-slider-tracking-system-3d-printed/</a></p> <p>Assembly guide: <a href="https://www.jjrobots.com/camera-slider-kit-2-0-assembly-guide/">https://www.jjrobots.com/camera-slider-kit-2-1-assembly-guide//</a></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Everything is modifiable: this is an Arduino based OPEN SOURCE robot</strong></p> <p><strong><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://cdn.thingiverse.com/assets/31/8f/c8/4d/62/trunk_GIF.gif" alt="" width="640" height="300" /></strong></p> <p><strong>------------------------------------------------------------------------</strong></p> <h3>What you need to print:</h3> <ul> <li><strong>BOTTOM + TOP</strong></li> <li><strong>SCREW CAPTURING RING</strong></li> <li><strong>CAP</strong></li> <li><strong>PULLEY 80 teeth <span style="color: #ff0000;">(slowly)</span></strong></li> <li><strong>PULLEY TOP</strong></li> <li><strong>UPPER GANTRY</strong></li> <li><strong>BOTTOM GANTRY</strong></li> <li><strong>Electronics CASE</strong></li> <li><strong>MOTOR LEGS</strong></li> <li><strong>PULLEY END LEGS</strong></li> <li><strong>PULLEY END</strong></li> <li><strong>623zz ENVELOPE</strong></li> <li><strong>MOTOR END</strong> </li> </ul> <p>OPTIONAL</p> <ul> <li><strong>TRIPOD SUPPORT [V2]</strong> (only if you want to attach the slider to tripod/s)</li> </ul> <p><strong>-----------------------------------------------------------------------</strong></p> <p><strong>Electronics in charge of controlling the robot:</strong> <a href="https://www.jjrobots.com/product/devia-robotics-control-board-v1-0/">DEVIA control board</a></p> <p>---------------------------------------------------------------------------</p> <h4><a href="https://www.jjrobots.com/product/camera-slider-kit/">CAMERA SLIDER CUSTOMIZABLE KIT *Save the hassle and time: Get electronics and motors here*</a></h4> <p>---------------------------------------------------------------------------</p> <p><strong>This robot uses the same electronics and motors</strong> you would need to create the:</p> <ul> <li><strong><a href="http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1804534">Air Hockey Robot</a></strong></li> <li><strong><a href="http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1683764">Sphere-O-Bot (eggbot MOD)</a></strong></li> <li><strong><a href="http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1590702">iBoardbot</a></strong></li> <li><a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4579405"><strong>PyBot Robotic Arm</strong></a> </li> <li><a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2306541"><strong>B-robot EVO 2</strong></a> (and more to come...)</li> </ul> <p>---------------------------------------------------------------------------</p> <p>Getting tired of one robot? <strong>Create another just printing the 3D parts!</strong></p> <p> <strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">NEW:</span> </strong> Use the same electronics to create the <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4579405" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Pybot Robotic Arm!</strong></a></p> <p><strong><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://cdn.thingiverse.com/assets/2d/9a/91/cf/79/xbox_controller_1_1.gif" alt="" width="466" height="262" /></strong></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
