This Motorized 3D Print is featured on. http://www.htxt.co.za/2017/09/23/this-dalek-from-doctor-who-is-3d-printed-and-motorised/ I took my Full Size Dalek parts and scaled them down to make a Motorized Dalek. This Dalek will be following me at the next Comic-Con in Santa-Fe. This print will require 3/4 Spool to print or less depending on your infill. RC Parts came off my sons old RC Car that he use to play with. All of my full size Dalek parts were imported to the Simplify3D software and rendered to have different layer Infills. They range from 2% on bottom to as high as 100% for extra support. at .1mm layer height. I just reduced them in size to print on my large 400x300 delta. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2414471 and my Small 220x400 Delta https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2358415 The Larger Delta printed the larger items, my smaller Delta printed the small items at .1mm layer height. that way i can print the larger items in better detail then to split them into smaller pieces. If you do not know this. Inside the Dalek Body are the missing parts. You will have to move the body to get access to those items. The entire print cycle was a total of 1 weekend to print with both my 400x300 Delta and my 220x400 Delta printing the smaller more detailed items. Additional files can be located here. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2469978/#files https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:369866/#files I've also added a 2nd Version which includes the missing pieces that were in the body plus and updated neck version which requires less material at 100% infil This version will print a complete Motorized Dalek at 507mm high 401mm long 300mm wide All you got to do after it gets printed and add your RC Parts. In my finished version it will light up like my Full Size Version and say EXTERMINATE I'll Add Pictures once it is put together. But for now you can start Printing your very own Dalek. 9/16/2017: I've added a new Head to accommodate the new Neck Update. The head is a little larger to fit around the neck properly. 9/17/2017: as of Today My Mini Dalek Ned is Complete. Next will be to add the RC Parts and Speaker 9-22-2017: I've added a Video of the Dalek in moction, Just Ignore the Bird she goes crazy with any motorized RC around the house. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AF5MPGv8x3s&t=11s
