Motorized Skull Gear

Motorized Skull Gear

I really liked this skull gear, but it needed some animation. I found an old 120VAC servo motor that turns 180 degrees a minute, and designed a casing and fixed stem for it. It's been running for over a month non stop now, and is definitely a great desktop conversation piece. If anyone wants the motor type, I can find it. I also left the solidworks 2022 files in case someone wants to add a different base for a new motor. In order extend the motor screw, I used 4-40 standoffs and superglued them together to keep them from unscrewing. You'll also want to add some WD-40 to get the gears turning without squeaking. It's been silently running great since being put together. Thanks and enjoy.
