I wanted a simple motorized crank for Tuilio's awesome marble machine. https://youtu.be/0-DhpBcpI0c All of the components were easily sourced. It uses a typical hobby grade motor I found on from amazon. I went with 6V 100RPM, but its a little too fast. Motor: Search for "N20" motor and get one that looks like the one in my picture. I recommend somewhere in the neighborhood of 3V-12V and 20-60RPM. 9V connector: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T1VKLLN?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details Switch: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SPY9H7Y?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details You will need a soldering iron and a bit of heat shrink. To build it: 1. Solder the switch, motor, and battery connectors together and test that the motor is spinning the correct direction (if it spins the wrong way, reverse your motor wires). 2. Insert the motor through the hole for the switch. 3. Pass the motor down through the hole in the bottom of the motor mount so that it protrudes out through the bottom so that you can install the motor shaft adapter. 4. Hold the motor firmly. Align the flat spots and press the motor shaft adapter on to the motor shaft. Push the motor back up into the motor mount until the shaft adapter hits the motor mount. 5. Insert the 9V battery. Pass the 9V Connector through the hole for the switch. Connect the 9V battery. 6. Press the switch into the hole for the switch.
