Human: Giraffe type holder for 2004 Smart Controller on Prusa printers. UPDATE: Longer arm, ready to accommodate an additional 5 or 10 cm of LED-strip. STL-files with and without support Lock ring The panel clips securely onto the tip of the left smooth rod of the z axis. Two hinges make the mount surprisingly flexible. On the left side is a keyed slot for easy SD card insertion, making it super simple to access your files. The reset/kill button features an X shape and is slightly recessed to prevent accidental print termination. Underneath the frame is a groove designed for 15cm LED strip installation. It connects seamlessly via the red wire in the pictures to the "12V_AUX" socket on my RAMPS board, located between the fuses and the X axis stepper driver. (For brightness control, I utilized an step down converter.) Adding the four half Cubes to the corners almost eliminates actual warping, even when printing with ABS. Print the frame with 20-24% infill, 0.25mm layer height, brim, and support for angles steeper than 50°. Support is only truly necessary at the SD slot. The arm has one side that requires printing, utilizing 25-30% infill, 0.25mm layer height, and brim but no support. For the knobs, use 0.15mm layer height and no support.
