I needed a solution for picture frames where the mounting point to hang it on is some distance from the wall. This is particularly annoying when your wall is hollow and the only thing to bolt it to is plasterboard or alike. I have been dealing with picture frames from a big, and well known Swedish company. For that I am using an own design that bridges the gap between the wall anchor(s) and the mounting point on the picture frame. It is a parametric design, using FreeCad with spreadsheet functionality, making it adjustable to many (all?) situations. You can change parameters, and by choice use one or two wall anchors to suit it to your intended usage. If you need specific sizing and need help, contact me.
