<p>This is a wall mount for the Harbor Freight Quantum 534 Lumen 3 D Flashlight. The flashlight does not include a wall mount bracket. I designed this with 2 screw holes which are counter sunk which should keep the screws from touching the flashlight body. I designed it for standard sheetrock screws. When placing the light into the holder make sure you have the on-off button facing straight towards you or the light will turn on when the button touches the back of the mount.</p> <p>Note to pull the light out you need to lift in slightly and pull forward, which is deliberate to keep it seated even when bumped or bouncing around.</p> <p>I printed the one in the photo in Polycarbonate (mostly because that was already in the printer more than the need to be super-strong) I used a draft shield to make it work. If you aren't a beginner I would consider doing it in PC Blend as it provides a nice slippery tough surface for the flashlight to go into when you put it in the holder.</p> <p>As always I am including the STEP file for anyone who either wants to modify it or machine it rather than 3D print (because if you don't make your mount out of Inconel it's just not manly enough?). I may make my own remix which will include hooks for a rubber band to keep it in even if bouncing around. The model was generated in OnShape CAD if you are curious.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>Not a lot of instruction. More perimeters is better. I did 4 perimeters in Polycarbonate and this thing is a tank. When I put the screws in they sat about 0.5mm below the surface but be careful particularly if you make it in PLA not to crush through the surface. With polycarbonate I was able to mount it with a drill/driver with the chuck set pretty low and it worked perfectly.</p>
