THIS DESIGN HAS BEEN MOVED TO YOUMAGINE:https://www.youmagine.com/designs/camera-slider Reasons:http://marcuswolschon.blogspot.de/2014/01/leaving-thingiverse.html I tried to improve on the camera slider by Matt Roberts by making the sides more versatile. You can mount the sider on a tripod now and mount equipment to it. All holes for bolts and rods are tapered for easy assembly. All corners that a human hand can touch are rounded. V2: I added M5 holes at a 45° angle into the feet, so you can insert threaded rods or bolts to dynamically add longer feet when needed. Instructions Don't forget to mirror one side before printing. Mount a 40x10mm L bracket to help stabilise the slider. Use 3mm grub screws to secure the 8mm rods. Use 4x M5 bolts to mount the L bracket to the sides. Drill a center 1/4" hole into it and cut a UNC gear. Also cut 1/4" gears into the center holes at top and bottom of both sides. Now you can mount your slider on one (center) or two (sides) tripods. You can also mount a lamp, microphone or display to the top of a side.
