Movement trays for Kings of War or Warhammer

thingiverse

Movement trays for soldiers in fantasy war games, with three 12mm dice sockets for tracking wounds, activations, or other stats. I can update these files to add extra dice sockets, alternate formations, etc. if there is demand. Anyone with more skill in designing parametric customizable models, or just wants to change things up, is welcome to make a derivative too. The files are named by the base size and the formation. So "20mm 5x2 troop" has a 100mm x 40mm tray space, named for the Mantic Kings of War unit size that fills it if mounted on standard 20mm bases. The "25mm 5x2 troop" tray has a 125mm x 50mm space for a Troop formation of 10 Orks or other unit on a 25mm base. For base sizes in Kings of War, click here: http://manticblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/BASE-SIZES.pdf Note: Drawn with no extra room for tolerances, so you may need to scale up slightly if things are fitting too snugly. Horde tray will probably be too large for most desktop printers, especially the 25mm ork tray. Updated files 04/12/14. Drawing things late at night led to some scaling and positioning errors to be fixed when properly awake the next day. Updated files 01/06/15. Added LEGO-compatible trays for troops and regiments. If you are planning to use LEGO minifigs for Kings of War, you can print single-mini bases here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:46633 and you can download the free rules here: http://www.manticgames.com/free-rules.html Updated files 03/12/15. Added trays for miniatures on 40mm round bases. Perfect for proxying Warmachine/Hordes (Trollbloods as Ogres, anyone?), Warhammer 40,000 or any other 40mm round-base models where KoW or WHFB calls for 40mm square. Updated files 08/10/15. Added dice tray, slightly oversized with 13mm square sockets for easier manipulation. Depending on feedback, I can add the same changed to the trays. Also added plain troop and regiment bases for those making permanent diorama-style trays.
