The Moverio BT-300 has one weak spot, which is the black plastic component situated in the center of the two screens. This delicate piece supports the nose pad, dark shade, and prescription glasses. If you frequently swap out these accessories, this part will eventually shatter, requiring you to send your glasses for repair. I've created a replacement part that fixes this vulnerable spot. To install it, carefully remove (using a precision screwdriver if possible) the original component and swap it with this Shapeways-designed piece.
