The movi Pro controller costs anywhere from $1800 to $3000. Ya boy don't have that. I do have $60 and a dream. This project takes the Movi pro API and the arduino Esplora game pad and turns it into a Movi controller like.. thing. This is very much so a work in progress and ill keep updating the project as I go along. UPDATE: 5/8/2020 okay im not going to lie, this got way more complicated then before! I'm going to upload my code a little later because this is still a work in progress. I have changed to an Arduino Mega and hopefully soon it will use magnetic encoders to allow for wheel control. when its done, you should be able to stop, start camera. Switch between joystick and wheels, use roll axis, have focus and Iris and zoom control. be able to set custom focus areas for stills lenses, and kill the gimbal. also im working on a LCD output so you can see what commands have been used. Update: 5/29/2020 Added a different body for the cheaper joystick I think most people will use. Im working on the wiring diagram right now, but your definitely going to need to do some mad soldering. update: 6/30/2020 New software is done! the display changes with the mode button push. You will need a i2c connection board to the 16x2 display. I will update the buy link later. I really don't think many people will do this anyway. The wiring is basically solid. The only thing its missing is the Iris control wires. Its pretty simple tho, ill update again, later. The link to the google drive will have all the stable versions of the software linked in it. We are working on adding in Majestic mode at the moment. It seems freefly has locked that away or didn't finish it, one way or another I'm trying to bring it to people in some forum.
