Summary OK here is my latest model, it's a velociraptor resonating chamber, I've wanted to model this for a long time, ever since I saw the movie, This model will not make any sounds let alone make you sound like a Raptor, but it would be nice to display on a model shelf after painting. Enjoy! Print Settings Printer: Da Vinci 1.0 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 3mm Infill: 20% Notes: None Post-Printing the model might need a little sanding to smooth out the shape. How I Designed This Modeling I used inkscape to fret out the basic shape saved as an SVG, imported the SVG into Hexagon 3D extruded the shape and massaged it a bit, used Sculptris to add the surface bumps, exported it to an OBJ file, imported that into Meshmixer for final fixing and saving to an STL.
