Auxillary Fan Nozzle for the Monoprice Select Mini. This is to add cooling to the rear of your parts. It is designed to use a 40mm fan. I ran a pair of wires from the motherboard main power in up through the Z tower and along with the other wires for the print head. I also added a small switch to the side of the auxillary fan, just in case I need to turn it off. See misc notes for install and mod instructions. The mods needed are not too hard, just require some minor soldering, and some minor disassembly of the Z tower to run wires. Note I printed this on its side, with supports inside to hold the shape, as I felt this would be the best cosmetically. Feel free to orient how you like. Print Settings Printer: Monoprice Select Mini Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: .21875 Infill: 20% Notes: This is an auxillary fan mount for the back of the x carriage, to help with part cooling. You will need to remove the x belt tensioner spring, as it will hit the inside of this part. I chose to remove the spring, remove the nozzle cooling block, and add a spacer inside the loop where the belt catches, to take up slack. Then I use the screw that holds the idler pulley to adjust the belt tension, and it has worked flawlessly. To mount the fan nozzle to the carriage, I used a little hot glue, and then ran a small screw thru into the carrier block. I included the 123d design files, with the carriage and cooling block basically added in. These other parts are not 100% correct, so dont try to print them as a replacement for the x carriage.
