This is the same as 1976388 MP Select Mini V1 ABS Flag by Waggy-Tail but resized and chamfered to fit the MP Select Mini V2 fan shroud. Its purpose is to block the airflow to the hotend while printing ABS to reduce the potential for layer de-lamination. You can't just shut off the fan because the heatsink of the extruder still needs airflow. I had used a piece of tape but it was a pain to make sure it properly blocked the outlet - and then it was hard to remove. I found that wrapping a layer of blue tape around the plug portion provides the friction needed to prevent it from from popping out. I printed this flat, ABS at 230C, dollar store hairspray on glass at 60C and it stuck almost too well during all 10 tries I had to do to set the right X-resize and chamfer. Top layer is not perfect in the photo but it works very well. No need to mess around with changing fan shrouds. After 6 years with 2 Flashforge printers I have discovered only this year that picture frame glass and hairspray with no binder clips works the best. That's the first modification I made to the mini V2. To keep the plate in place, I use 5 or 6 silcone thermal pads 20mm square and 0.5mm thick. The glass can be changed in 5 or 10 seconds and never moves. A tempered glass tablet screen protector might more easily pop the prints off because it can be bent easily 30 degrees or more but I am not so sure its laminated makeup could take a heated bed at 110C regularly.
