MP3 Player Project Box

MP3 Player Project Box

I purchased a cheapo Chinese MP3 player and FM receiver for my work bench. I needed a box to put it in so I designed and printed one. It's 55mm high, 140mm wide and 100mm deep, although it was designed with this specific project in mind you may find other uses for it. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Geeetech Prusa i3 Aluminum Rafts: Yes Supports: No Infill: 20% Notes: I had issues with this sticking to the painters tape on my print bed therefore the bottom isn't exactly flat despite the fact that I used a raft. Post-Printing Box with feet and 12 volt power supply installed. Small modification on front edge for a better fit of the MP3 player Player inside box. It's a cozy fit. I will be making a lid but it is customized for my use and therefore I wont be posting it here but it should be a fairly easy task to whip one up for your project. In this image you can see the bottom is not flat. I have issues with big prints sticking to the bed. I added a power switch to the player as it did not have one. How I Designed This Tinkercad is my friend. I used Tinkercad to design this box and although I am a complete newb and I find Tinkercad a bit frustrating at times, so far it has been the easiest "cad" software (app) that I have used.
