MP7 Buffer Tube Adapter

MP7 Buffer Tube Adapter

I own a Tokyo Marui Electric MP7 A1, and found out you can disassemble the buttplate from the stock, which prompted me to want to make a buffer tube adapter so I could fit AR-platform stocks on the MP7. The buffer tube is Milspec sized and offers 65 mm of adjustable range for the stock, as the MP7 stock is better to be kept inside lock to prevent wobble and reduce chance of the adapter falling off as there is only one fastening screw for it. I've always thought the MP7 stock never comes far enough down for you to be able to rest the head against the stock, which gets uncomfortable in longer games where you aim more over distance. Bringing the buffer tube position a bit down might help with that issue. The pictures of the MP7 on the front page is photoshopped just because I didn't have an ar-stock available at the time, but serves as an approximate representation of the final product. If you need the Fusion 360 file for any remixes you can dm me about it.
