MPCNC Filament Spool feed system

I needed a solution for my large bed MPCNC to hold my filament spool and keep the filament feed lines out of the way during printing. I designed this system to hold a 5mm Teflon filament guide tube, ensuring it will fit a stock MPCNC with no trouble adapting as you see fit. This design sources parts from other sources as noted, with all files included here for easy access. Parts have color references based on my pictures, and there are alternative EMT cap styles available through the Remix link. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerGear Printer: M2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: .25mm layers Infill: 50% Notes: You'll probably need supports for the large funnel parts, but not the other stuff. You need to print four caps, four centers, and one of each remaining part. Post-Printing Assembly You'll need eight #6x3" and five #6x1" machine bolts with matching lock nuts. On my machine, I used a 20" EMT tube for the upright pole and a 6" long tube for the spool arm. Be careful tightening the nuts, as these parts don't require a large amount of torque to hold together. The gantry fairlead funnel should just slide over the NEMA 17 Z-axis motor. The gantry filament guide arm clamps onto the Z-axis EMT using two 1" bolts. You should be able to align the hole in the guide arm up with the corner under the funnel. On the spool side, loosely assemble two of the EMT clamps using the 3" screws. On the lower set of 90º clamps, insert the center spacer block so you'll clear the MPCNC corner brackets. Attach the lower assembled 90º blocks and slide in the 24" EMT tube. Next, attach the other 90º clamp assembly to the spool holder EMT and slide it onto the long arm, clamping it where convenient for your spool diameters. Add the clamp collar with a 1" bolt/nut to secure it. Then add the filament guide arm and finally, the filament fairlead funnel using 1" bolts/nuts. Place the parts so the arm guide hole aligns with the corner of the funnel, and all this lines up in the middle of your spool. Cut your PTFE tubing to the length you need and insert one end into your MK8 extruder and the other end into the spool guide arm, feeding through all the guides. Load your spool, feed your filament, and get to printing.
