When I first decided to build a MPCNC machine I knew I needed to be very efficient with my space as I already was at my capacity in my little workshop/garage. I also wanted a new workbench. So, I thought, why not combine the two! Some of my design requirements were to have an extremely stable and sturdy removable workbench on top of a sturdy surface to mount my CNC machine. I also built in retracable wheels (casters) so I could move it when I needed to and retract them to make it rest on the doubled up 2X4 legs for extra stability. The only thing I would change is possible increase the Z axis clearance, but so far it has been adequate. I have uploaded the full Fusion 360 file as well as the cut lists I used to build this workbench. Note that some of these joints are not entirely necessary, but I used them to increase rigidity of the entire structure. If you build one, please share pictures of yours, especially if you make any improvements!
