MPCNC Z Spacer
thingiverse
While leveling my MPCNC, I encountered a problem with the connections to the Z legs that kept slipping. I spent hours measuring and adjusting, but it turned out that the corner legs weren't cut to the exact same length. In fact, I even cracked one of the feet while tightening it. To resolve this issue, I printed out a spacer that ensured my measurements were consistent, but I still had to loosen and tighten frequently. It wasn't until I created a Z Axis 'Leg' spacer that clips onto the conduit that I found a permanent solution. These spacers remain in place at all times, eliminating the need for constant adjustments. Now, I'm confident that all four legs are of equal length, and if one corner does lift up, a quick tap brings it back into place. Keep in mind that every MPCNC is unique, so I've included a Fusion 360 sketch to enable you to customize the spacer's length according to your specific needs. This design is tailored for US Conduit size, but feel free to adapt it to suit your requirements.
