MPX-PDW Cheek Weldr

ATF approved my Form 1 today!! Time to convert my Sig Sauer MPX-P into MPX-PDW! This is my first Short Barreled Rifle (SBR) and is my first step into NFA restricted firearms. (because a barrel under 16" is uber scary) Only took 123 days for approval to put my stock on what was formerly legally considered a pistol! Cool! As nice as the telescoping stock is, (and is necessary for ultimate SBRing) the cheek weld leaves something to be desired. Enter the CHEEK WELDR. I made this Thing to replicate the cheek weld of an AR with a Magpul CTR stock, so I can reinforce my muscle memory of using my rifle/optics while using the MPX SBR/PDW. It positions the upper portion of a mock buffer tube, as well as a CTR stock when fully extend, to where it would be if you were looking down the sights of an AR-15, giving similar cheek weld! Once parts are printed and postprocessed, simply extend the MPX-TELE stock to its full position and press down to install so it looks like the render with the translucent plastics (showing it installed). Print Settings Notes: Print CTR-full.stl with 30% infill and whatever shells. It is just a cheek rest, but should probably be printed in ABS to resist the sun if you shoot outdoors. Raft and Supports unfortunately. Orientation doesn't matter really. Print Tele-Clamp.stl with 100% infill, whatever shells. Ideally this should be printed vertically, but if this doesn't work for you, print it "dead bug" with the curly clamp things facing up and the flat surface on the build platform. No support/raft should be required if printing this way, but if printed vertically, you might need a raft. Post-Printing Remove rafts and stuff, glue together. File to fit. (it's supposed to be tight) How I Designed This It is intended to be modular, so if I get a Magpul UBR or something epic, I can just swap out the top plate. If I do that, it will probably be screwed together instead of glue. But this is quick and dirty, and doesn't use much plastic anyways.
