<p>Here is a likeness of Mr Doorknob from Alice In Wonderland.</p><p>I printed and painted, but I think he would look great printed in silk gold PLA too.</p><p>I made two variations - the first and one I printed is designed to be screwed to the door with a single screw through the knob/nose. The knob prints in two parts to allow access to the screw. There are two small holes where the knob joins to take a small screw to hold the knob together.</p><p>I also made a second variation that can be attached with four screws into the cupboard. The knob/nose can be glued into place or screwed from the back in this configuration. There is then a cover for the screws at the bottom, and the hair piece covers the holes at the top.</p><p>The files labled v2 are for the parts with the screw holes - the knob parts are needed for either option. I printed the knob parts together and used supports. Only knob_top with the overhang really needs support.</p><p>I also thought that it would be cool to modify this plate to go over the top of an existing door handle, but I don't have a single ball handle in my house so, this will fall to someone else</p><p>I designed this in Tinkercad, so even the noobs among us (such as me) can have a go at tweaking this - <a href="https://www.tinkercad.com/things/gbjKWxaXhKW-mr-doorknob">https://www.tinkercad.com/things/gbjKWxaXhKW-mr-doorknob</a></p><p>For paint, I sprayed it with a valspar brown paint and primer in one (this stuff is amazing - touch dry in 10mins) and then added some Decoart Metallic “Glorious Gold” to give him some sparkle. White and black are from paint markers, but brushed on as they are notorious for running.</p><p>Was fun to make and quick to print - enjoy.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
