This is a collection of hoods that fit the MRM Scythe, Switchblade & BlackBolt XBR. http://www.multirotormania.com/frames/1450-mrm-scythe-v2-220mm-x-frame.html All the hoods fit a HS1177 camera. like most hood builds, a low FC and PDB stack height is a must. These hoods are designed to be printed in TPU!! Printing in a Rigid material (PLA, ABS, etc.) will not result in a functioning part. The prints have been designed to use a semi-captured M3 nut (non-nylock) for mounting to the frame. You slip the nut in the slot and add a dab of hot glue to keep it from falling out during assembly. You may need to use a solder iron to clean out any boogers in the slots for the nut to center properly. An off center nut can cross thread and then slip in the slot, so take a bit of care in this step and you will have a trouble free setup. The Foxeer Legend1 and Session Mount hoods have not been updated to the captured nut system* Print Settings Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm or 20 Microns Infill: 100% Notes: I suggest printing at 0.2mm for clean printing and helping with the overhangs. Chec kyour slicer to see what the best perimeter settings are. For me at 3 it gets hot and warps in a couple locations, but 2 perimeters prints perfect.
