I love my MSR gravity filter and I love my HydraPak Seeker bags, but one doesn't cleanly connect to the other. The pressure fit comes loose and will happily drain all over your boots. This adapter has the male fittings for a wide-mouthed Nalgene (which the MSR supports) and the female threads for a 42mm Seeker bag spout. With both sides firmly in place, you can pretty much set them and forget them. Additionally, back-flushing doesn't risk the whole bag dumping out on the ground.
