MSR Windburner Folding Stand

MSR Windburner Folding Stand

A friend of mine asked if I could make a stand for his MSR Windburner backpacking stove as the one that came with it broke at the hinge. The specific stand for the Windburner seems to be difficult to find online. I modeled this off of the basic dimensions of the OEM MSR stand but changed the hinge design and beefed up the frame and legs a bit. There are two versions of the frame, one that utilizes brass heat inserts and one with a simple hole that can be tapped and threaded into (the threads are modeled but I'm sure a tap will still be necessary). Materials needed: M3 x 12mm screw x 3 M3 washer x 6 M3 x 3mm, 4mm, or 5mm heat set insert (if using with appropriate frame) x 3 I printed this in carbon fiber PC. PETG should work well also. My only concern with this design using PLA is the leg stops. If anyone printing this finds that the stops are splitting at a layer line please let me know and I may redesign a version of the leg that would utilize a M3 screw as the leg stop.
