<p>This is a canopy for MTD. Unfortunately I lost one during a flight, so I made this one. It's obviously a bit heavier, but still acceptable.</p> <h3> Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Printer:</strong></p> <p>AM8 BLV</p> <p><p class="detail-setting rafts"><strong>Rafts: </strong> <div><p>No</p></div><strong>Supports:</strong></p> <p>Yes</p> <p><p class="detail-setting resolution"><strong>Resolution: </strong> <div><p>0.1375</p></div><strong>Infill:</strong></p> <p>around 5%</p> <p><br/> <p class="detail-setting notes"><strong>Notes: </strong> </p><div><p>I used:<br/> 6 top solid layers</p> <p>3 bottom solid layers</p> <p>1 perimeter shell</p> <p>The canopy is placed flat on your printing bed, in the same position as it's installed on the plane.<br/> You can glue the clip with CA.</p> <p>It's hard to have a nice top layer finish with such little infill. YMMV.<br/> I printed at 150mm/s and 40% solid infill underspeed.</p> </div></p></p></p> Category: R/C Vehicles
