After printing the original I had some things I wanted to change mostly for my personal taste and also for some better structural integrity. I did not like how the sides and back of the box top overhung the sides of the bottom. I felt it would look better if all were the same thickness so I bumped out the bottom sides and back so everything mounted flush. I also removed the fillets at the front where the top met the bottom on the left and right of the general slot. I also removed the gradual step up angle at the very bottom of the box and made it flat. I think both designs are good depending on your taste. I am grateful something like this was designed because I have not seen anything like it for sale in the accessory market for deck boxes and everyone thinks it's cool.
