Thank you to the original creator for posting this tablet stand design. I printed the original three piece tablet stand and then modified the base to stiffen the whole design significantly yet remains flexible enough to switch holes to angle tablet without too much trouble. Try printing this base with enclosed holes on one side with support to use in place of original base and I think you will enjoy how much sturdier the tablet stand becomes. Nothing other than the base (Ipad_Stand_Base_enclosed.stl) is required to stiffen the whole original assembly! I also widened the hook piece that holds the tablet even wider than the original wide version so a Nexus 7 2013 with Moko case or a 8.4" Galaxy Tab S tablet and Moko case now fit fine. If your hook piece that holds the tablet works for you already, just print this enclosed base and enjoy the extra sturdiness, otherwise print one of the hooks with support as well and enjoy the wider hooks to accommodate your wide tablet case. Note: This is my first contribution on Thingiverse! I hope you enjoy it. -- Update 10/14/20: I decided to created a raised base platform add-on (Ipad_Stand_Base_enclosed_tall v14.stl shown in white) which is super glued to the original base to add height, and allow a charging cable to be inserted and routed underneath. This also improves overall stability. The tall base also serves as storage for small items. To compliment the new base to allow a charging cable to plug in with clearance I also created a new slightly thicker hook piece which improves clearance for the charging cable (wide_tablet_hook_v4.stl). I included both stl and step files for the tall base add-on (in white) and the new thicker tablet hook bracket as well so it will be easier to customize for your own needs if necessary. Enjoy!
