Multi-directional Vehicle

This vehicle boasts unique movement capabilities, traveling not only forwards and backward but also sideways. The steering wheel allows on-the-spot or point-along-center turning by varying its speed. A lever on the left alternates between forward motion and sideways movement. Holonomic wheels enable these features; they allow one wheel to reverse while pedaling forward, causing the rear to move sideways as the front is controlled by the steering wheel on the right. All components are from Rs or designed for home workshop manufacture. The gearbox, another major component, has been published in my library models.
