Multi-lithopane doge with frame

thingiverse

I've been experimenting with multi-lithopane pictures recently, and this framed, six-part doge that I made for my roommate's birthday is the first one that worked out. I used the large doge source image on Know Your Meme and cut it into six square sections. The picture sections were then processed through Customizable Lithopane and the frame was modelled in 123D Design. Instructions The frame has been pre-cut to fit on my Afinia H479 build platform, but the original STL file is also there. If you're feeling adventurous, deepening the groove in the frame would make the project assemble a little more easily. The lithopane sections are 12 layers at 0.20 mm, in the large square format with no hole. (The picture sections are included if you want to re-process them.) Other than that, you basically just have to print everything out and glue it all together.
