Important: to make this item float in the frame and optionally turn like a compass, you will need 28 pieces 3mm thick x 5mm diameter neodymium button magnets. These should be available for (in the UK) less than £10 for 50. This is a puzzle prop made specifically for the role-playing game "Invisible Sun". The nature of the game requires me to keep details to a minimum, but if you're a GM and intend to download the file to make one, message me for more background information. Everything here is limited to technical details on how to successfully print and assemble it. Assembling this item takes some skill, as it's intended to be found in parts and assembled by players themselves. It's up to you how you weave it into your role-playing experience. Alternatively, download it simply as a conversation piece - the puzzle itself is a challenge, and the "floating" mount with magnets makes for an eye-catching sculpture.
