This illustrates multiple regression using a regression plane to predict Z (vertical) from X (red axis) and Y (blue axis). Four regression lines were also drawn to predict Z (vertical) from X (red axis), one line for each value of Y (red axis). Note: The lines and plane are not actual regression lines and plane based on least squares. They are drawn approximately for illustration only. Note2: This and other models in this series are test of ideas. More comprehensive versions with annotations will be developed later.
