Multiplier / reductor gearbox

Multiplier / reductor gearbox

thingiverse

A rather simple gearbox multiplier/reductor (depending on the input). It either increases or decreases the rev/min by a factor of 4. The gears are labeled by the number of teeth and shaft diameter. The teeth module is 1.25 , their thickness is 5mm and the distance between the shafts is 32mm. I used the 6mm shaft/bearings because that was what I had lying around. I will make a 4mm version as well. You will need: 2 x 6mm bearings 4 x 4mm bearings 2 x M4 screws for use as shafts 1 x M6 screw as a shaft 8 x M4 screw for the housing and lot of nuts (lol) Note : - not tested to the limit, just with a 130 size motor UPDATE 24.05.2022. - Changed the diameter for the bearings so the plastic shouldn't crack when tightened - Added some technical documentation
