This is a replacement inner support for a 100mm (4 inch) metal mushroom vent, as found on the roof of many boats, caravans, and sheds. Instructions Print the model in your choice of plastic, allowing for shrinkage. I used PLA. Heat up a suitable nut and melt it into the provided hole so that it will stay in place when the plastic cools. The tabs of the printed piece should fit into the bottom part of the mushroom vent, and the bolt on the top part of the vent will screw into the nut. Hold the printed part secure with either silicone rubber or a couple of small, well placed screws through the side of the vent.
