Music Crystal Dice - The 7 Modes' Chords

This is a set of 7 crystal-style dice made to help with writing chord progressions and learning about music. Each one represents one of the 7 musical modes. The sides of the dice represent all of the chords that are available in that mode and what scale degree they start on. Below are instructions on how to use the dice: 1. Pick a mode that you want to write a song in (major is Ionian, minor is Aeolian) 2. Print out the dice for that mode (or print them all to mix things up!) 3. Roll the dice and read the chord that is on top that has the text right-side up 4. Repeat until you have all the chords you need in your chord progression 5. Play the chords and write a song with them, or just jam out! Another great thing about these dice is that they can help you learn modal mixture, which is where you bring in chords from different modes in one song. For instance, you could use the major dice (Ionian) for most of the chords, but throw in a couple chords from the minor (Aeolian) dice to spice things up!
