Muskrat Rocket Motor

Muskrat Rocket Motor

Motor design by Austin Brown for the Rex Putnam high school Rocket club Assembly: Step 1. After 3d printing all parts or making them. Attach part 1,2,3 by gluing them together. The will be very tight so sanding them before assembly is best. Step 2. Do the same thing with part 4 by sanding then gluing them to the rest of the rocket motor. Step 3. Rocket cap should just twist on. Comments: -Before gluing parts together measure a piece of heat-resistant material that can resist the fuel mix you are using that covers the inside of the rocket motor. -The motor is designed to be reused multiple times. -The best method of making this motor is CNC machining it out of aluminum this means your motor will be light and means you don't have to add heat-resistant material to the inside. -This motor can be 3d printed and work but only if you add an insulator inside it.
