Mussaurus patagonius hatchling skeleton from the early Jurassic. Modified scan from jrhutchinson. Original scan - (CC BY 4.0) The original skeleton and scan is all tucked up. I’ve unfolded the skeleton from it’s original position and restored the skull shape to more easily show it’s anatomy. I’ve also mirrored some bones (shown darker than the original bones) where its counterpart from the other side was missing. The skeleton is mostly complete. But most of the toes and much of the tail are missing. With the tail restored the whole skeleton would be about 25 cm long.
