My (actual) brain

This is a 3D model of my brain. During my PhD in 2016, I had it scanned by a colleague of mine, running fMRI experiments in her lab. I managed to convert it into a printable 3D model and thought I'd upload it here. Should you be interested in the procedure I underwent to arrive at this model, check out my (archived) series of posts: - [fMRI scan to 3D print (1)](https://web.archive.org/web/20161018220429/http://gerfficient.com/2016/05/16/mri-scan-to-3d-print-1/) - [fMRI scan to 3D print (2)](https://web.archive.org/web/20161223173823/http://gerfficient.com/2016/05/18/fmri-scan-to-3d-print-2/) - [fMRI scan to 3D print (3)](https://web.archive.org/web/20161223203140/http://gerfficient.com/2016/05/23/fmri-scan-to-3d-print-3/) - [fMRI scan to 3D print (4)](https://web.archive.org/web/20161019030259/http://gerfficient.com/2016/07/27/fmri-scan-to-3d-print-4/) or my re-summarized version on my new website (in German): [Vom fMRI Scan zum 3D-Druck meines Gehirns](https://gerfficient.com/post/brain-printing-story)
