This design uses Thingiverse's customizer tool, specifically with version 881114 of that software. With the use of this application, you can create unique modifications to your projects and have those creations easily printed through various devices. To make these alterations on your own customized item, follow the next set of instructions provided: 1- The first thing is selecting the desired platform depth. The chosen depth must match or be less than 114 millimeters for this device. 2- Now, with that choice settled you must choose a size for any linked segments, known as link size. With it set to 17 in most of our devices we use this specific value quite often, however you are free to pick anything ranging from zero to some extremely high amount, such is up to the individual designer of your piece. 3- At last, once more we return back towards selecting platform width values; like with any platform there's nothing particularly complicated involved - a platform width has one purpose only, being exactly that. It matches its number as displayed here - 114 millimeters for us standard types and possibly many others.
