My Customized Parametric pulley - lots of tooth profiles
thingiverse
Human: Created with Customizer! http://www.thingiverse.com/apps/customizer/run?thing_id=16627 Instructions Using the following options: 8 mm for pulley bolt height. 2.7 mm deep M3 nuts. 15 mm high toothed gear on pulley end. 1.5 mm idler shaft length, including end bearings. Additional teeth: 1 mm depth each, at pulley center and idler hub. Tooth width is equal to profile diameter for non-parallel sides of the wheel gear on pulley, in addition to standard size. The nut will hold at angle degrees (in this example, 90) between M3 screw. Retainer bolt holds nut shaft at specific point away from pulley gear, so nut can't come off if gear comes loose. Motor drive pin shaft diameter must be specified before creation; otherwise customizer software is required to adjust parameters appropriately, or use other thing files. The only necessary specifications for retainer and end bearing lengths (2 in each direction), is one length between pulleys at specific positions. Teeth: 20 evenly spaced at center point. Wheel width equals total diameter from outermost ends. M3 nut bolt flats are not visible with certain profiles selected. If desired, a blank model can be exported. Standard thing size can now use additional options, while remaining as basic standard specifications on main page link. Customizable designs that have already been defined do not require specification of most features; but the exact number (number_of_designs = 1 in examples) should match actual things designed if new is created. Profile selected must be one from drop down list below; they include different diameters, bolt sizes for pulley gears.
