This thing was designed to fit neatly onto your desk. The overall dimensions are roughly three by seven inches in area and slightly over one inch tall, though the top surface can sit comfortably flush on flat surfaces. You can use it as a storage box or simply place some small parts like screws or bearings upon its surfaces if desired - nothing that is going to obstruct view through any clear sections. If space constraints prevent full utilization of these spaces then we suggest filling in gaps partially filled objects until totally consumed, after which time add something entirely new outside dimensions provided don't encroach neighboring regions anymore.
