My Dream Bird

Flapping wing aerial vehicles have always been fascinating me. Flapping mode of propulsion was one of the earliest means of flight attempted by man. In this design challenge I have designed this simple flapping wing aerial vehicle. The design is kept as simple as possible and also concentrated much on the aesthetics of it. The model is crafted carefully keeping in mind the 3D printable feasibility. Necessary chamfers and fillets are given at necessary regions to reduces the stresses, as it will be 3D printed. This model will be powered by a brushless motor. I hope the judges like my model and select it and help me realize my dream bird to become a real physical bird.
