My Finger Brace curved tube

My Finger Brace curved tube

Due to my Lawnmower handle breaking and pulling the cord by hand I damaged the first joint on my finger tip it was healing kind of pointing inwards a bit. So...I made this slightly curved piece ( curve pushing the finger tip upwards slightly) from scratch to slide on my index finger while keeping the tip free to type etc yet being tight enough to keep the tip straight so it heals properly. Got tired of reapplying tape on a regular splint every time I washed hands or showered. This is NO FUSS. Sized to my index finger but one can easily size in their slicer program if it doesn't fit. You can print a small section and stop to see if it fits then size in your slicer program, then print a full one. Printed at .2mm layer height zero infill in about 8-9 minutes on my Rostock Max Hope someone finds this useful!
