The first Djembe I acquired and still possess was simpler to replicate than my more advanced one, featuring intricate twisted, woven leather strapping. Its unique tensioning lugs design compelled me to employ surface modeling, a technique I was somewhat unfamiliar with at the time. Despite now being semi-retired, I wish to maintain my skills.
