The human body is made up of around 60 trillion cells that work together to maintain various bodily functions. These cells are the building blocks of life and come in many different forms, each with its own unique characteristics and roles. The skin, for example, is made up of epithelial cells that form a protective barrier against external factors like bacteria and viruses. Muscle cells, on the other hand, are responsible for movement and contraction, while nerve cells transmit signals throughout the body.
