My own brain (simple version)
thingiverse
This is an uncomplicated model of my brain (taken from an MRI scan). The complete story can be found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1332983 Print Settings Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 15% Notes: I used meshmixer to add a few supports. The files do include the supports. Post-Printing I colored one hemisphere with nail polish to show anatomical features (gyri). How I Designed This This is a simplified and downscaled version of my original design that I extracted from an MRI scan of my own brain. In this version, I deleted internal structures and made it into a single part. Then, I split it into two parts so they could be printed with minimal or no supports at all. So you should glue the two parts together permanently after printing.
